Typeface History
This was our final project for Typography where we used pre-made text explaining the different parts of letterforms and fonts but with the font of our choice out of a small list. I decided upon Caslon.
The history of the particular typeface creator was ours to write after researching them. After all of this text was created, we had to come up with a design sharing this information and using all styles of the font.
I decided to go with a kind of Baroque color scheme. Dark reds, browns, and greens. I also used the glyphs accompanied with the font to make the design more visually interesting.
I also decided on the kind of "zig-zag" pattern for the definitions of different parts of the letterforms. It felt more visually interesting to me.
