SeaMail & PowerPoint Templates
When I interned at Virginia SeaGrant/VIMS, they asked for me to make up a number of different ideas for possible templates based off of their branding standards.
The main "logo" for VA SeaGrant with their new branding identity was their wave. I was asked to find new and creative ways to incorporate the wave into a new title card template for PowerPoint as well as basic page templates. From these proposals, a new template for their internal publication, SeaMail, was created.
I utilized their approved colors, wave, and textures that came with the branding guidelines and incorporated them in new ways. The biggest change was adding the rough texture and some color to the wave, that was originally just white with grey and navy blue backgrounds to give the wave shape. The call-out box with the bubble texture was also created for both PowerPoint and the SeaMail templates.
