Fictional Winery Label
This project was to create a fictional winery and then create a label for a particular type of wine made by that winery.
The winery I created was inspired by the river that my parents used to live near in Virginia, the Pagan River. My winery wasn't from the same part of Virginia, though, but from the Monticello wine region in Ivy, VA.
To keep the feeling of the word "pagan" going, I used a font that gave a feeling of coming from an old grimoire or something along those lines. Old and slightly gaeilic, basically. That is also why the main image is that of a Green Man. I drew the face on paper, scanned it in, and then transferred to Illustrator.
The orange and blue lines are the printers' marks so they would know where the label was supposed to be cut.
